Preparing your album for vinyl is a multi-stage process. We can provide you with a vinyl premaster, which is an audio or data disc comparable to your CD master, but optimized for the second stage, which is having a lacquer or metal disc cut. From here one requires electroplating (for lacquers), mother masters, stampers, etc., but all of this is typically handled by the vinyl manufacturer.

With the vinyl premaster disc we prepare, you can go to any vinyl broker and have records produced (see links page for some suggestions.) If you would like us to assist you with the process, we can have lacquers made for you, and will also be happy to audition your test pressings to make sure no problems have arisen. Lacquers cost $350 + shipping to the pressing plant of your choice. Check back here soon for more information about how we can help you along with this process.
