How do I upload and download files to you for mastering?

The most efficient way of moving data around is using File Transfer Protocol or FTP, it works over the web and is very similar to web browsing. Downloading is very easy, you can paste an FTP link (which starts with ftp:// instead of http://) into any web browser and it will work right away.

However there are benefits to using an FTP client, such as file queueing, which make it easier and faster in the long run. You also need an FTP client in order to upload. We will provide you with an FTP account for uploading and downloading, but you need to find a client program yourself.

Any client is fine -- if you don't have one on your computer, our favourite free program is FireFTP, an add-on for the Firefox browser. You need to have Firefox installed for this to work. You can also try net2ftp.com, a free web service that does not require you to install any software, but it is a little slower and more cumbersome.

Generally speaking, if you are using a home DSL or cable connection, uploading is fairly slow (20-30 minutes per song) but downloading is much faster. Try it, you'll like it.
